We provide a wide variety of experiences on our associated websites, tailored to the individual imprint, book, organization, or application on that website. Additional terms may apply on some websites. If so, they will be posted as Additional Terms of Service. The additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use a website with additional terms.
By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Overview
Idyll Arbor works to improve healthy connections between individuals and groups. By using our Services, you agree to the following overriding rules and regulations:
- You will not use information from any Idyll Arbor website for chain letters, junk mail, spamming, or any use of distribution lists to any person who has not given specific permission to be included in such a process.
- You agree to work for the good of the community each of the Services serves. You will not transmit through the Service any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature.
- You will not use the Service for illegal purposes.
Using our Services
Don’t misuse our Services. For example, don’t try to access our Services using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide. You agree not to modify the Services without our permission or use them in any inappropriate way that causes harm to other users.
Our Services display content that does not belong to Idyll Arbor. This content remains the property its owner. You may not use content from our Services unless you obtain permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by law.
Non-Idyll-Arbor content is the sole responsibility of the entity that makes it available. Many other websites have long lists of content you may not post. For Idyll Arbor Services you agree that the content you post will be intended to benefit other users of the Services. We may review and remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. You agree that we have the sole right to decide what content will be displayed on our Services.
You may not use any branding or logos used in our Services without our express written permission. Don’t remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with our Services.
If you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct, we may suspend or stop providing our Services to you.
Your Idyll Arbor Account
You may need an account in order to use some of our Services. To reduce spam, you are required to create an account with a verifiable email address before posting comments. Instructions for creating accounts are available on each website. Some of the Services require more information, as required to safeguard and enhance the experience of other users.
You are responsible for obtaining access to the Service and related third party fees (such as Internet service provider or airtime charges). In addition, you must provide and are responsible for all equipment necessary to access the Service.
In consideration of your use of the Services, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdiction. You also agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Services’ registration forms and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete.
If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or Idyll Arbor has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Idyll Arbor has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Services.
You will create a password and member name during the Service’s registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. If you learn of any unauthorized use of your password or account, follow the steps for a forgotten password and a temporary password will be sent to the email you used to create the account. If these steps do not work, you agree to immediately notify Idyll Arbor of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security.
You will exit from your account at the end of each session. Idyll Arbor cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.
Privacy Protection
Idyll Arbor’s privacy policy explains how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when you use our Services. By using our Services, you agree that Idyll Arbor can use such data in accordance with our privacy policies.
You understand and agree that some of the Services include advertisements and that these advertisements help Idyll Arbor to provide the Services.
- Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website.
- Google’s use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising by visiting the ads preference manager. For other third-party vendor’s use of cookies for interest-based advertising, you can learn more by visiting aboutads.info.
The Services may include certain communications from Idyll Arbor, such as service announcements and administrative messages, and that these communications are considered part of membership in a site. You will not be able to opt out of receiving them. You will be provided with ways to opt out of commercial messages.
Idyll Arbor Content
You agree that you will not use Idyll Arbor content, except short excerpts in reviews or recommendations, without Idyll Arbor’s express permission.
Your Content in our Services
Some of our Services allow you to submit content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and terminate accounts of repeat infringers according to the process set out in the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
When you upload or otherwise submit content to our Services, you give Idyll Arbor (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute such content. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services, and to develop new ones. This license continues even if you stop using our Services. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Services.
Some Services may request additional uses of your content (for example, as part of a book). We will contact you and obtain your permission before using your content outside the Services described here.
Software in our Services
Some Services may require or include downloadable software. Some devices automatically update software. On devices that do not automatically update software, it is your responsibility to perform the updates. Idyll Arbor gives you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive license to use the software provided as part of the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use the Services in the manner permitted by these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.
Idyll Arbor software offered on these Services, which may be used independently of these Services, is covered by its own license agreement and terms of service.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Idyll Arbor, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Content you submit, post, transmit or make available through the Service, your use of the Service, your connection to the Service, your violation of the terms of service, or your violation of any rights of another.

The Services may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other World Wide Web sites or resources. You acknowledge and agree that Idyll Arbor is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any Content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that Idyll Arbor shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such Content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource.
Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Services, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser. You agree that Idyll Arbor shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Service.
Our Warranties and Disclaimers
Our Services are developed using a commercially reasonable level of skill and care. You agree that you understand there are limitations to what we promise about our Services.
OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE TERMS OR ADDITIONAL TERMS, NEITHER IDYLL ARBOR NOR ITS SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS MAKE ANY SPECIFIC PROMISES ABOUT THE SERVICES. FOR EXAMPLE, WE DON’T MAKE ANY COMMITMENTS ABOUT THE CONTENT WITHIN THE SERVICES, THE SPECIFIC FUNCTION OF THE SERVICES, OR THEIR RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR ABILITY TO MEET YOUR NEEDS. WE PROVIDE THE SERVICES “AS IS.”
SOME JURISDICTIONS PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN WARRANTIES, LIKE THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE EXCLUDE ALL WARRANTIES.
Liability for our Services
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IDYLL ARBOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF IDYLL ARBOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF IDYLL ARBOR, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, FOR ANY CLAIM UNDER THESE TERMS, INCLUDING FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SERVICES (OR, IF WE CHOOSE, TO SUPPLYING YOU THE SERVICES AGAIN).
IN ALL CASES, IDYLL ARBOR, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE THAT IS NOT REASONABLY FORESEEABLE.
About these Terms
We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a Service at any time. You should look at the terms regularly. Term will be posted to this page and the Additional Terms page of each Service. Changes will not apply retroactively and will become effective no sooner than fourteen days after they are posted. However, changes addressing new functions for a Service or changes made for legal reasons will be effective immediately. If you do not agree to the modified terms for a Service, you should discontinue your use of that Service.
If there is a conflict between these terms and the additional terms, the additional terms will control for that conflict.
These terms control the relationship between Idyll Arbor and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights.
If you do not comply with these terms, and we don’t take action right away, this doesn’t mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).
If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms.
The laws of Washington, USA, will apply to any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Services. All claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the Services will be litigated exclusively in the federal or state courts of King County, Washington, USA, and you and Idyll Arbor consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
