For those of you who have missed it, there has been a raging controversy about Rupert Sheldrake’s talk on TEDx. The talk was taken down from the regular TED site and shuffled off to a hard-to-find corner of the website. This was done because an anonymous “science panel” said Sheldrake’s work is pseudo-science. You can watch the video and decide for yourself about its value.

Of course, I support Sheldrake’s work and think it points out many aspects of human interactions that need to be explained. I’m not sure his morphic resonance theory completely covers what he is observing, because it focuses on outside influences to create the patterns. I prefer the idea of a soul creating the patterns from the inside — and it’s one of the reasons I wrote my book.
